THE PINNACLE POINT GOLF COURSE is something truly unique for the discerning golfer. This 18 hole championship golf course was deigned by the well-known South African golf course architect Peter Matkovich who opened the course together with Top Irish Tour Golf Professional Darren Clarke in November 2006.
Darren Clarke, who was also involved with many aspects of the Pinnacle Point course design, has said Pinnacle Point is "... the best golf course on the planet." Pinnacle Point was selected as one of the Top Ten New Golf Courses of the World for 2006 by the American publication Travel and Leisure in January 2007.
This Cliff top Fynbos Golf Course inspires the golfer to play this challenging layout with a level of respect due to its dramatic views and breathtaking terrain. The 72 par layout is characterised by 7 majestic holes that line the Indian Ocean rock cliffs, 4 of which are played over ocean and cliff. All of the 18 holes have been designed to fit the lay of the land and it's a true testament to the spectacular design that this was achieved.
The reintroduction of the endemic fauna and flora to this estate has been hailed as a remarkable achievement by local and international ecologists and the preservation of this pristine Fynbos is an ongoing commitment by the Pinnacle Point Beach and Golf Resort.

BOOKING PROCEDURE
All bookings can be made through the golf co-ordinator via email at golfbookings@pinnaclepointestate.co.za or via telephone on 044-6933438. On the day bookings can be made at the pro shop.
DRESS REGULATIONS
At Pinnacle Point we pride ourselves on the service that we offer to all golfers and we therefore request that you please adhere to the following dress regulations;
MEN: The following are acceptable:

Tiger T round neck golf shirts, shirts with collars and sleeves.

Slacks and golf shorts, both with belts. No shorts are allowed.

White short socks.
-
Jeans are forbidden on the golf course.
LADIES: The following are acceptable:

CHECKING IN PROCEDURES

Golfers are requested to park their cars in the parking area in front of the Golf Club House Building.

Meet and Greet golf operations staff will bring your golf cart to your car, from where you may drive directly to the Pro Shop for golf check in.

An indemnity form for your golf cart must be signed in the Pro Shop.

Enjoy the beautiful views of the Indian Ocean and the ambiance of our Club House before you tee-off on our magnificent golf course.

Unfortunately, if you miss your tee off time; you will have to wait for the next available tee off time.

The halfway house restaurant is based at the clubhouse. You will be able to purchase refreshments and light meals on your own account.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Should your booking be cancelled within 48 hours of play, the full playing fee will be debited to the credit card, as per the details provided. Should a “no-show” occur on the day of play, the person will still be liable for the full playing fee.
DRIVING RANGE AND PUTTING GREEN
The driving range is located near the entrance of the estate and not at the Club House. Please follow the signage to the golf reception building where visitors are more than welcome to make use of the facility.
PRO SHOP
We have a pro shop based at the clubhouse where you will find golfing equipment and accessories. The pro shop stocks a wide variety of quality brands. Rental Clubs are available at the pro shop for R250.00 per set. You may also book a golf lesson with a PGA professional at a rate of R150.00 for a 45 min lesson. PLEASE CONTACT OUR PRO-SHOP IN ADVANCE FOR THIS.
